Survey Organization
I designed and developed the Survey Organization course for consultants managing DHS Program surveys. As the lead designer and co-developer, I spearheaded the project from kickoff to evaluation—conducting an action mapping exercise, developing the storyboard, overseeing course development, and leading a Level 2 Kirpatrick evaluation.
Course Organization
In this course, learners embark on an engaging hike through diverse landscapes, each representing a stage of the overall survey process, guided by a survey manager who shares valuable stories and insights they need to manage a survey. As they traverse from stage to stage, they must answer a series of questions to move forward to the next stage. The journey culminates in a final test that brings them to the top of the mountain.
Tools used: Articulate Rise, Adobe illustrator, Vyond
Learners are introduced to the trail with four stops that correspond to the stages of the survey. 
I used labeled graphics with pop-up markers throughout the course to engage the learner visually and dispel information in an interactive manner. 
I also made videos in Vyond and integrated them into the course. 
To move from one stage to the next, learners must answer a series of questions. 
Learners move through different landscapes for each stage of the survey. 
Learners must complete a final challenge to get to the top of the mountain and complete the course. 
The character welcomes the learner and tells them she needs their help to set up her workstation. 
Video made in Vyond to visually demonstrate sampling processes. 
Every time the learner answers a question correctly the character gains an item for their workstation. 
The character thanks the learner at her newly setup workstation at the conclusion of the course.
Closing a Cluster
I designed the Closing a Cluster course for Data Processors working on DHS Program surveys. As the lead designer and activity manager, I crafted the design and oversaw the course’s development, ensuring an engaging and impactful learning experience.
Course Organization
In this course, the main character is a data processor who just started her new position and needs to “teach back” what she has learned so far about how to close a cluster. Throughout the course, the learner answers questions about concepts the character has introduced. When learners answer the questions correctly, the character gains an object that will help her set up her new workstation.
