vILT on the Man’s Questionnaire
This 3-hour session was part of a longer learning journey that consisted of a series of eLearning and virtual sessions. This particular session was focused on a questionnaire that collects data on men’s health. Learners needed to be able to describe the content of the questionnaire, identify common challenges encountered while administering the questionnaire, and advocate for its use.
Session Organization
To meet the learning objectives, and since the cohort was small, I designed a dynamic scenario-based session where learners who were divided into groups of 4 had to discuss the scenario and come up with a response. Groups were allocated points based on the completeness of their response. The team who ended up with the most points won a prize. This allowed for participants to lead discussions, think out loud, exchange experiences, and learn from each other. This session was delivered in both English and French.

vILT on the the Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing System (CAPI)
This 3-hour session was part of a longer learning journey that consisted of a series of eLearning and virtual sessions. This particular session was focused on the overlap in workflows between two essential roles to ensure that data collection via a computer assisted personal interviewing application is maximized.
Session Organization
After going through the workflows of both roles represented, and since one of the objectives was to increase discussion between the two roles to ensure they worked together cohesively, I integrated a panel discussion into the session. Subject Matter Experts from both roles were invited, and I moderated a discussion between them “talk show style”, drawing the “audience” (i.e. the learners) at key points in the discussion to ask their questions as well. Since this was an online session, I designed the slides to mimic a studio as if they were watching the live talk show in person. Audio effects were also used to make the experience more real. This session was delivered in both English and French.
